Here you can follow us on the progress we’re making on renovations for Weda Resort!
Since we closed, we’ve still been maintaining our Bungalows, specifically our one room cottages (Cottage 1,2,3,4). However, other cottages, requires heavy renovations are currently under-construction.
Our most recent progress in renovations (As of Jan 22, 2026) ;
- We’ve replaced our water-pump at the resort,
- We have electricity (although limited) thanks to our generator.
- The Restaurant has been renovated with a new roof, only requiring a fresh coat of paint and it’ll be ready.
- We’ve completely renovated our Longhouse cottage (A.ka Cottage 8). While not at all finished in its renovations, we’ve replaced the walls completely and the next goal would be the roof.
What’s next?
- The road to the resort absolutely requires a bit of clearing and renovations, as it’s a tad bit overgrown. At the moment the only access is on foot or by motorcycle.
- Cottages 1,2,3,4 is ready for stay! However, it could most certainly be better with renovations of the bathroom, new paint, furniture, etc.
- The Restaurant & Lounge has always been the center of the resort; with the most recent renovations we only need to prepare the kitchen and the furniture left, and with the road access repaired we’ve planned in opening a recreational area + restaurant for the public.
- Permanent power, good water pressure, and hot water is a must. This is something we’re still working towards.
